704 Shop Launches (En)Vision Line in Partnership with Lions Services
One-off run will be sold through online auction

Charlotte-based lifestyle brand 704 Shop today launches a new partnership with local nonprofit Lions Services, which provides employment opportunities to blind and visually impaired folks, providing them with meaningful training and independence.
The new (En)Vision upcycling initiative will transform donated and thrifted apparel into unique pieces handcrafted by employees of Lions Services. Pieces will be sold by auction, with 100% of proceeds going to Lions Services.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Lions Services on a project that embodies Charlotte’s spirit — creativity, compassion, and community,” CEO of 704 Shop Andy Mitchelides said in a press release.
The limited-edition collection featuring 13 upcycled pieces is only available through an online auction at 704 Shop’s website that launched today and will end on Dec. 14. One of the items, a snapback hat that spells out “704” in Braille on the front, is available for purchase outside of the auction. According to the website, $7.04 from each sale of the $38 hat will go to Lions.
Other items are mostly based in local sports, from vintage Charlotte Hornets windbreaker pants to a Charlotte Checkers Calder Cup Finals 2025 hoodie.
“(En)Vision is more than just an upcycling initiative; it’s a movement toward inclusivity and purpose-driven design,” Mitchelides said. “When people support this project, they’re not only embracing sustainable fashion but also investing in opportunities that empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired to thrive and share their remarkable talents.”
In December 2024, 704 Shop partnered with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control agency to release a new design that promoted pet adoption through AC&C’s Lick Shelter Life Goodbye campaign and donated $7.04 for every shirt purchased to the agency. They’ve also previously partnered with Veterans Bridge Home and BraveWorks.
Lions Services was founded in 1935 and is the largest employer of the visually impaired and blind, producing goods for government and commercial partners. Operating largely out of its headquarters, The Bob Elliot Center for the Blind on North Tryon Street, the company provides its employees with vocational training, full-time work and community support, highlighting its mission of independence through opportunity.

“Partnerships like this help us expand awareness and opportunities for the people we serve,” said Philip Murph, President and CEO of Lions Services. “Every piece from (En)Vision tells a story — not just of renewal and sustainability, but of empowerment. We’re grateful to 704 Shop for using their platform to champion inclusion and purpose-driven design.”
