2023 Final Voting Round
Vote for the best of everything in Charlotte in our annual awards competition.
What is Best in the Nest?
Every day in our paper and on our website we highlight the people, places and things that we believe you should be aware of in Charlotte. Now is your time to choose the best the Queen City has to offer in five categories of over 350 businesses, artists, musicians, restaurants and much more.
In our annual Best in the Nest issue, we look back at some of the most important stories, the biggest impacts, biggest failures and all around hilarity of the past year. You can learn all about last year’s winners in our 2022 Best in the Nest awards.

CONTEST CLOSED
Vote for the top nominees by October 31, 2023
How to vote in the final voting round
Voting is easy in the final round. Scroll through our categories of:
- Food & Drink
- Arts & Entertainment
- City Life
- Consumer Culture
- Nightlife
Readers have nominated hundreds of winners for all of our categories. Pick one from the top 3-5 nominees in each round.
You do not need to fill in each and every option, but we recommend you do so in order to highlight the folks you think deserve a nod and have your voice heard.
Voting in the final round is limited to one session per valid email address to compensate for ballot stuffing. You may vote multiple times, but if a race is too close to call due to ballot stuffing then multiple votes from the same email address will be discounted. Be sure to grab a copy of the Best in the Nest issue when it hits the streets on November 29!
