PHOTOS: Caamp Continues Rise with Fillmore Tour Stop

It was only two years ago that Caamp first rolled into Charlotte and performed a sold-out show at the Neighborhood Theatre. On Friday, Nov. 5, Caamp returned for a sold-out show at the Fillmore. It wouldn’t surprise any fans if next time around it’s a sold-out show at CMCU Amphitheatre or an even larger venue. Caamp has been on an upward trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down.

Bolstered by the band’s hit single, “By and By,” Caamp’s music blends rock, bluegrass, country, pop and folk into a conglomerate that’s constantly winning over more and more fans. In fine form on Friday night, the sold out Charlotte music venue was filled with fans dancing, swaying and singing the night away.
While one fan favorite, “Strawberries,” was absent from the setlist, the band played plenty of other favorites from their two albums, including “All the Debts I Owe,” “Peach Fuzz” and an encore that included “Mockingbird Song” featuring opener Molly Tuttle. You’ll want to get your tickets early the next time Caamp comes to town.
