Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to The Beatles

Given The Beatles’ overarching ambitions and vision from 1965 on, a program of orchestral re-imaginings of the Fab Four’s oeuvre is not that far a stretch. For good or ill, The Beatles’ practice of augmenting pop with orchestral flourishes spawned an entire sub-genre (The Moody Blues, Electric Light Orchestra). This tribute ensemble is presented and bolstered by the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
