Sankofa Crafts

Sankofa Crafts is a workshop series hosted by Red Rice Books and Funky Sweatshop rooted in culture and crafts. Explore the African diaspora with us while honoring natural and ancestral processes. Come create quilt squares during Patchwork Geography where we will celebrate the history of the quilters of Gee’s Bend Alabama. In July we will create dyes with natural plants and foods and September we will create our own block print patterns. All materials provided.
