Showalter is Oh! You Pretty Things co-founder and guitarist Joseph Conde, stepping out solo with his Lambsbread EP release show. Conde’s hypnotic acoustic covers highlight elemental vocals (Phoebe Bridger’s “Killer”) and impeccable taste (traditional “Hangman” covered by Led Zeppelin as “Gallows Pole”). His originals — like the Nick Drake-gone-psychotic reverie “With My Companion” — are even better. Accomplished Charlotte alt-folk artist Elonzo Wesley retains the beguiling specter of his former band Elonzo’s alt-pop.
