Wednesday Night Live: Cine Casual Film Screening

Rosalia Torres-Weiner’s short film ‘The Magic Kite’ traces its origin to the artist’s Papalote Project, a program in which Torres-Weiner encouraged the children to express emotions about losing one or both parents to deportation through the creation of colorful kites. The film is followed by ‘Perfume de Gardenias,’ the debut film from renowned Afro-Puerto Rican singer, multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Macho Colón. Cash bar and popcorn will be available.
