Kenya Templeton Presents: A Birthday Concert

Brooklyn Grace 219 S Brevard St,, Charlotte, NC

Singer Kenya Templeton celebrates her birthday musically through straight-ahead jazz, contemporary jazz, gospel, and R&B music annually. It's my birthday and I want to celebrate singing songs of various genres that I love and cherish. We will go on a musical journey through straight-ahead jazz, contemporary jazz, gospel, and R&B interwoven with stories as to how this chosen repertoire has either inspired or enriched my life. And in the usual fashion, I give gifts to concert attendees instead of receiving gifts for my birthday. If you attended the first one at Dupp & Swat in 2019, you know this celebration is like a concert at a family reunion. Come ready to laugh, cry, meditate, and rejoice. I promise this will be a musical event like no other!
