PHOTOS: Sierra Ferrell Lights Up Neighborhood Theatre

If you haven’t heard of Sierra Ferrell yet, you’d better start taking notice. Last month, she performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and her Saturday night show at the Neighborhood Theatre was packed to the gills with plenty of fans singing along to her brand of Americana, which blends the best elements of folk, country and bluegrass while showcasing her stunning vocals.

Ferrell began her climb to fame after a few of her songs went viral on the YouTube channel GemsOnVHS, including “In Dreams” and “Jeremiah,” two songs that would serve as the foundation for her debut album, Long Time Coming, released in August.

Sierra Ferrell performed plenty of songs from Long Time Coming, but also a few unreleased tracks that are bound for the follow-up. Simply put, her performance was enchanting and captivating, and she won’t be performing in mid-sized venues like this for much longer.
