Two North Carolina natives will launch a new hybrid business model that blends fitness and coworking in South End this weekend with the opening of THE CLUB, billed as “a one-stop space for unparalleled premiere fitness, luxury amenities, dynamic coworking and vibrant community” in a release on Monday.

Located in a two-story, 8,000-square-foot space at 1200 S. Graham St., this fusion of wellness and productivity boasts 8000+ square feet of space, the business will comprise a coworking space on the ground level and a bottom floor below that, which will be home to two 1,000-square-foot fitness rooms.

“What started as a dream quickly grew into reality with endless love and passion poured into the making of THE CLUB,” stated co-owners Nicole Paradis and Meg Mars in Monday’s release. “Our hope is that it becomes a second home that’s inviting, where people can find community, grow, move together, and spend time from morning to night.

“We were both born in North Carolina and are so excited to come back to our roots and bring our experience, passion, and love for fitness to this community,” the pair continued.

The ground-floor coworking space will include 30 seats and a full-service coffee bar that offers lattes, teas, matcha, smoothies, juices and more from selections from Pertinacious Coffee Co., a mobile coffee bar based in Plaza Midwood, plus a rotating selection of pastries and snacks throughout the day.

Beyond the two large fitness rooms — dubbed the RIDE room and the TRAIN room — the bottom floor will also include lockers, two bathrooms, three showers, a changing room and a fully stocked dry bar area with hot tools, makeup vanities, and “everything you need to get ready post sweat,” according to the release.

THE CLUB offers four different styles of fitness class, all of which last 45 minutes. RIDE is a rhythm-based cycling class focused on choreography; TRAIN is a low-impact, circuit-style weightlifting class; PULSE is a heated, beat-based sculpt-style class; and STRETCH is a heated, beat-based stretching class.
